About Our Founder
Ben Ruvo is a student-athlete at Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Throughout his constant battle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and his passion for sports, he has noticed a lack of attention given to athlete mental health. OpenMindGymm attempts to spark the conversation for athlete mental health through education and advocacy! Help Ben and his team fight to end the stigma!
About Our Head of Marketing
Holly Ruvo is a student at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. She has a passion for running as well as film, photography, social media and website design. Throughout her running experience, she has noticed a stigma attached to mental health, especially in athletes. Combining these two passions, she takes part in advocating for the cause.
About Our Operations Manager
Ben Chelnitsky is a student at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. Since a young age he has been a part of many sports teams and eventually developed an interest in sports psychology and cognitive science. He helps oversee operations and manage finances for OpenMindGymm to help spread awareness of the importance of strong mental and physical health.
About Our Events Coordinator
Max Ruvo is a student-athlete at Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Through his brother’s experiences as well as his own he has recognized a lack of attention to athlete mental health. He has an interest in business marketing and uses these tools to the best of his abilities when helping spread awareness.
